Corporate Entertainment, Team Building & Conference Venues
Sailing days are one of the best forms of corporate entertainment. Be it the thrill of racing or the luxury of languid cruising, there is nothing like being at sea with a gentle breeze blowing and the lapping of the waves to make everyone forget the office. Add to this, good company, a glass of bubbly to wash down the “nibbles” or excellent food and you have almost reached utopia.
A proven advantage of a day’s yachting is that you the host have a captive audience for at least eight hours. Unlike Ascot, where the guests keep “popping” off to the bookies, or the rugby, where they will insist on cheering on the game, with yachts they can’t escape. Experience has shown that the majority of our guests have never been in a yacht before, which places you the host, in a unique position.
With very little effort, company teams gel easily together when forced to live eat and on occasions sleep in a very close environment. We can assess your staff whilst onboard and submit a comprehensive written report or submit a more casual verbal debrief. Some companies have used a weekend away as a reward for staff that has shown merit.
Our normal programme is to meet in Haslar Marina (Gosport) for a good breakfast with Bucks Fizz, sail over to Cowes for an excellent lunch with wine and eventually end up back at the Marina for tea. We tailor your days to exactly what you require and have the resources and contacts to produce virtually anything you want. All you have to do is ask and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
